My holy brother Joe has been witness to some wounds that need healing. May G!d give us all the strength to rebuild Jerusalem with compassion, humanity, and urgent determination, beemhera beyamenu.

we've just witnessed another destruction of a temple, another mabul, another churban. millions sent into exile of homelessness, disease, and despair. rebuild, rebuild. what about God? isn't this a natural evil? what does the Universe have against the neshamot of Southeast Asia? and if this can be attributed to a moral evil of us destroying our environment, why must it come at the horrible expense of the innocent, insteead of the perpetrators, who may never wake up and stop stop stop?
